Self-Care Reminders for a Busy Lifestyle

Have you been prioritizing everything else aside from your self-care?

It’s easy for us to get so lost in everyday life that we forget to put ourselves first. Well, here is a little reminder for you to prioritize yourself with a list of self-care items that you can do, big and small, to ensure that you’re taking care of yourself.

Rise and Shine Routine

Hydration: Kickstart your day with a refreshing glass of water to wake up your body and get your engines running!

Breakfast of Champions: You know what they say, breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so treat yourself to a delicious and nutritious breakfast.

Morning Moves: Shake off the sleepies with a quick stretch or a mini dance party. Get those endorphins flowing! For me, a quick dance to your current favorite song is the way to go!

Daytime Delight

Break It Up: Take a few minutes for "me time." Whether it’s a quick stretch, a coffee break, or reading a chapter, you deserve it!

Hydration: Keep that water bottle handy and stay hydrated!

Snack Time: Munch on some healthy snacks to fuel your body.

Hot Girl Walk: Yeah, you read that right! Put on an audiobook, podcast, or your favorite playlist, get outside, and breathe some fresh air!

Evening Chilling

Unplug and Unwind: Set a digital curfew to give your eyes and mind a much-needed break. It’s easy for us to sit on our phones or stare at the TV for hours after a busy day, so consider giving your eyes a small break once in a while!

Relaxation Station: Dive into your favorite relaxing activities—read a book, listen to your favorite tunes, or soak in a warm bath. You do you, friend!

Dear Diary: One thing I learned from my therapist is to write down three things that made me happy that day. It’s great to reflect on the good things and go to bed on a positive note!

General Self-Care

Stay Connected: Give your loved ones a shout-out. A quick call or message can brighten both your day and theirs. I try to do this once in a while because I know life can get so busy that I forget to touch base with loved ones.

Hobby Happiness: Dive into your passions and hobbies. Whether it’s painting, baking, or binge-watching your fave show, enjoy your “me-time.” And don’t feel bad about taking that time for yourself!

Remember to Breathe: Practice deep breathing. Inhale the good vibes, exhale the stress. Feels good, right? Let that tension go!

Affirmations: Boost your spirits with positive affirmations. Want to know what I tell myself every day in the mirror? “You’re a Badass Babe!”

Enjoy Nature: Step outside and soak in the beauty of nature. A walk in the park or just some fresh air can do wonders during a busy day!
